Can You Have More Than One FBML Tab On FaceBook Fan Pages?

YES! You can have more than one. Rumor has it you can have up to two unique tabs on your Fan Page – but I’ve done three on a page without problem.

The trick is figuring out how to get the FBML box for the new tab.

Here’s a quick tutorial.

Go to your existing FBML box and look at the very bottom. You’ll notice an link that says “add another FBML box”

Now, type in your text, add the HTML code, etc in the new dialog box. Don’t forget to rename the box.

Of note: this FBML box will automatically be added to your boxes area on your Fan Page – if you want this to be a new tab, or canvas page you need to return to your editing area on your fanpage.

Select the application settings.

A new dialog box pops up that allows you to change the new FBML box to a tab.

Check Out Sizta2Siztas New FaceBook Fan Page

Congratulations to Sizta2Sizta.com on their new FaceBook Business page.

Stacey wanted a branded look that matched her website.

We created a matching landing page on FaceBook, then added a FaceBook tab for her testimonials.

Sizta2Sizta doesn’t have an Etsy store at this time – so we created a product page on FaceBook that links back to her website.

Finally we created an avatar that invites users to be a Fan and put a newsletter signup box on her wall to capture potential clients.

Please visit the Sizta2Sizta business page and become a Fan!

Emailing Your Contacts On FaceBook Just Got Easier!

NutshellMail  debuted a useful feature for page admins this week allowing them to create an automated newsletter for their fans by adding an “Email Newsletter” tab to their pages with the company’s Facebook app.

This newest addition to NutshellMail’s features allows fans to opt-in to the newsletter with featured content from a page. This is great news for marketing your business on FaceBook.

The new feature is designed to be easy to set up, use and maintain, and encourages subscribers to comment, like, share or post directly back to Facebook pages through the email newsletters.

The automated newsletter is similar to NutshellMail’s primary service, allowing users to compile social network updates from Facebook and others into a “snapshot email” which is sent to a primary email address on a schedule determined by the user —anywhere from once a week to hourly. Frequency, content and other settings for this snapshot email may be adjusted by users, who may also reply to notifications directly into Facebook and other networks via email.

If you don’t have an outside email newsletter function or way to collect newsletter subscribers using this application may be an easy, simple solution.

New Digital Camera Class Starting Soon

Do you want to take sharp photos without slogging through a manual?

This class is for you.I thought I knew a few thingsabout cameras. I bought my first camera over 30 years ago.

I’ve been taking pictures for years and worked in the photography field, as a photographer and darkroom technician. So, it came as a bit of a surprise when I purchased my first digital camera and found something that didn’t even look like a camera! When I turned to the manual, a thick, small thing, with even smaller type I wondered if I could master this new technology.

I did!

And I found it was a lot easier than I first thought. And the features these little cameras offer! You don’t have to have a special lens to capture a butterfly on a flower, or have to take a deep breath and hold it – hoping for a sharp picture. The advances in photography amaze me! These little cameras have come a long way. And the good news is, they are
getting easier to use. Now, everyone can use a digital camera and get great looking photos. You don’t even have to have a computer to have the photos printed.

In this online course We’ll cover the basics every camera owner needs to know to get the maximum enjoyment from your camera.

Including:

  • camera settings
  • composition
  • moving images from camera to
    computer
  • removing red-eye
  • storing images on your computer

You’ll learn the tricks and techniques to getting professional photographs from your digital camera.
You’ll understand how to use your camera, including what all those dial and buttons are. No longer will you just click the shutter and hope the camera is set up right! You’ll
be confident that you’ll get a shot worth sharing of your favorite subject – your dream vacation, your children’s birthday party,
graduation day, the wedding party or that wonderful sunset.

Social media marketer GOSOunveiled a new Facebook application this week that allows auto dealers to connect their inventory to their Facebook page.

The  BMW of Minnetonka, Minnesota is the first dealership to use it. The app meshes inventory management with social media marketing, as well as allowing dealers to monitor buzz surrounding their products, according to GOSO.
